Ladies & Gentlemen; Leetle Cogs & Gears,

With joy and more excitement than could be produced with electrodes on certain body parts a collective of hardworking and thoroughly insane miscreants would very much like to announce:

BLOODLUST BALL & PROMETHEUS BOUND: A PAST THAT NEVER WAS

Last century, BLOODLUST BALL was the ultimate event on the Brisbane Alternative calendar bringing together people from near and far to revel in their finery. 2011 is the year this auspicious event returns, a lily sprung from the ashes and evolved.

But that is not all, joining this very special occasion is Brisbane’s premiere and beloved steampunk event; PROMETHEUS BOUND. The ecstatic explosion of steam powered wonderment brings you everything you know and love, only on a much grander scale and wholly in the name of … SCIENCE!

Elegant Victorian gothic meets post-apocalyptic mayhem. The empire is burning, the gin is free flowing and the zeppelins have landed on the roof again.

St Paul’s on Leichhardt will be transformed into 3 floors of decadent indulgence for your pleasure. That’s right, the entire venue is yours to run amok – in a suitably genteel and mannerly fashion of course.

What is on offer?

FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD

Dainty nibbles that won’t cause those corsets to become unmanageable. A light supper if you will.

REFRESHMENTS

Cocktails anyone? The hardworking bartenders are whipping up some delectable concoctions to tantalise the tastebuds. Including:

+ Vampire’s Kiss

+ Hemmingway Revolution

+ Tru Blood (Oh, yes)

OSTIA shows were always an ethereal special event – expect FRIENDS OF ALICE IVY to be as unique.

NEUROPA (MELB)

Leetle Cogs & Gears,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of PB for August.

We know many of you were looking forward to it, so were we, but the venue situation did not resolve itself in time.

We want to thank you for your patience and support. Rest assured the second birthday in November is going to be freaking HUGE!

Also keep an eye/ear/auralactive device tuned to our direction for exciting lead up shananigans, salons and other bits and bobs.

Take Care and we’ll see you in November,

The PB Crew.

Leetle cogs and gears,

It is with a little sadness but also a giant serving of hope that we have decided to put Gaslight on hiatus for the moment.

We felt that Gaslight was not up to our usual standard and as we want to always produce the best for our patrons, it was time to pull Gaslight and take her back to the drawing board.

Rest assured it will be back with  more fun, laughs and shiney than you can poke a stick at but for now we’ll see you at Prometheus Bound and keep an eye out for other shennannigans we get up to in the coming months.

Love,

The Neoapoc Crew

Ladies and Gentlemen,

You asked for something between Prometheus Bound and here we are to deliver. Yes indeed, something from us every month because we love you.

Black Productions proudly presents, Gaslight.

Held every month between PB, Gaslight melds old world glamour with punk cabaret attitude, creating a whiskey soaked vaudeville experience for the senses. Noir, pulp, and everything in between; it’s Marilyn Monroe meets Tom Waites.

So come one, come all to our opening night. Dress to the nines should you please (not, by any means mandatory) and come take your ease with us.

For our opening show we will feature the darlings of PB – No Standing Cello Quartet, rising burlesque starlet and entertainer Truly Scrumptious and play tunes to set the mood.

The party goes until 2am so if attending the concert by the most delectable Emilie Autumn, drop by after and sit for a spell.

We look forward to seeing you all.
